An important change to legislation comes into effect at the end of 2012 and could affect the premium quoted.

As a consequence of the EU Gender Directive, insurance companies can no longer use gender as a factor to calculate insurance premiums from 21 December 2012.

So if your policy does not commence before 21 December 2012, this could mean that the premium that has been quoted to you can no longer be guaranteed and we may need to revise it.
